Some of us in the drinking sports group have a luxury problem: a wine cellar that has filled up over the years and an imbalance between purchasing and consuming bottles of wine. In other words, we buy more than we drink on our own.

That’s why some of them invite people sporadically or regularly (sometimes monthly) to destroy their stocks together – so-called “cellar clearing”.

Of course, culinary delights are not neglected here – but there is not much cooking here, but rather ham, salami, pâtés, cheese and other small delicacies.

Recently, a new trend in cellar clearing has established itself – bottle parties. Here, everyone brings a bottle from their own cellar and a snack to the host.
